Background: IGFL-3

IGFL-3 (insulin-like growth factor-like 3) is one of four small (11 kDa), potentially secreted human IGFL family members and is expressed in the cerebellum. This family shares A and B chain cysteine motifs with the IGF superfamily and has an additional cysteine motif within an uncleaved region corresponding to the C peptide of the IGF family.
