Preparing Stock Solutions for Ionomycin calcium salt

The following data is based on the product molecular weight 747.08.

Batch specific molecular weights may vary from batch to batch due to the degree of hydration, which all affect the solvent volumes required to prepare stock solutions.

Select a batch to recalculate based on the batch molecular weight:

Concentration / Solvent Volume / Mass 1 mg 5 mg 10 mg
1 mM 1.34 mL 6.69 mL 13.39 mL
5 mM 0.27 mL 1.34 mL 2.68 mL
10 mM 0.13 mL 0.67 mL 1.34 mL
50 mM 0.03 mL 0.13 mL 0.27 mL

    Species: Human
    Assay Type: In Vitro
    Cell Line/Tissue: HEK293
    Verified Customer | Posted 01/11/2020
HEK293 cells were loaded with intracellular Ca2+ sensitive dye, Fura-2AM in normal tyrode solution for 40 min in dark at room temperature, washed and kept in normal tyrode for 20 min. Fura2-loaded cells were excited at 340 and 380 nm and fluorescence at 510 nm was expressed as F340/F380 ratio, as an index of cytosolic Ca2+. Ca2+ stores were depleted with 1 µM ionomycin Ca in nominally Ca2+ free-tyrode solution, resulting in cytosolic Ca2+ peak.
