Background: N6AMT2

N6AMT2, also known as Phosphoglucosamine mutase, is a 49kDa 451 amino acid protein that is responsible for catalyzing the transformation of glucosamine-6-phosphate to glucosamine-1-phosphate. Research has linked N6AMT2 to otitis media. N6AMT2 has been found to interact with KAT5, MARK2, NARS and PRMT1.
