Background: NOC3L

Factor for adipocyte differentiation 24 (FAD24) was isolated as a gene expressed at the beginning of differentiation of 3T3L1 cells. It was found to be a positive regulator of adipogenesis by playing a role in DNA replication during mitotic clonal expansion.
