WB: Experiments gave bands at approx. 90-100 kDa band and 37+40+45 kDa band in human brain lysate after 0.3ug/ml antibody staining. These bands were successfully blocked by the immunizing peptide and they correspond to earlier findings in scientific literature with different antibodies (Wang et al, J Neurosci. 2002 Jul 1;22(13): 5505-15). This protein has a calculated MW of 50.7 kDa band according to NP_075380.1.

This gene encodes the receptor for reticulon 4, oligodendrocyte myelin glycoprotein and myelin-associated glycoprotein. This receptor mediates axonal growth inhibition and may play a role in regulating axonal regeneration and plasticity in the adult central nervous system.
