FAQs for RAPGEF2 Antibody - BSA Free
-
Q: Hello - I'd be interested in using this antibody to detect endogenous rapgef2 in a rat cell line. We've detected this protein pharmacologically and by RT-PCR, so I strongly suspect that protein should be expressed as well. Was wondering (a) has this antibody every been used in rat tissue? and (b) in the right panel of the figure, Rapgef2 was co-IP'ed with another antibody - is this one available? (c) Do you have any idea what the bands at lower MW in the right image may correspond to?
A: In regards to your inquiries, A) The antibody has never been tested in rat samples as far as I am showing from the lab testing data. B) The other antibody that this one was Co-IP'ed with is one that is no longer available, which is why the catalog number is not on the datasheet. C) Our lab has not been able to characterize the lower molecular weight non-specific bands at this time.
