Application: Western BlotSample Tested: whole cell lysate of mammary epithelial cell lines, Sample Amount: 30 ug and Mammary Epithial Cell LineSpecies: BovineVerified Customer | Posted 06/23/2021A) This antibody (LAT2) run by itself. B) This antibody (LAT2) run with another antibody from another company (LAT1; goal molecular weight, 48 kDa)Antibody was tested multiple times but two images are shown. I have attached two images, one where the antibody was run alone with a very high dilution 1:125. The other image is this antibody (LAT2) run with another antibody from another company that has a dark band (LAT1). The dilution for LAT2 in this case is 1:250. You can see the light bands located at the same locations as when LAT2 was run alone. This antibody was supposed to bind at an estimated 58 kDa. However, instead it binds under the LAT1 pictured (which is supposed to be 48 kDa) and above it (close to 70 kDa). It is unclear if these are reliable bands because they are so faint and in the wrong location; further, in order to see bands you need a very high volume of the antibody and so it becomes very expensive. In summary, I have rated the antibody as two stars.Bio-Techne ResponseThis review was submitted through the legacy Novus Innovators Program, reflecting a new species or application tested on a primary antibody.

Q: Our customer wants to know whether the item NBP1-47989 can apply to human follicular dendritic cell for IHC-paraffin.
A: We have tested this antibody in IHC-P in human tissue therefore I see no problem in using this in follicular dendritic cells. However there must be SLC7A8 Protein expressed in these cells.
