FAQs for Slit2 Antibody (710305) [Biotin]
-
Q: Does Human/Mouse Slit2 Antibody (clone # 710305) recognize the whole protein?
A: The literature states that Slit2 undergoes proteolytic cleavage after Arg1113. This generates a 140-150 kDa N-terminal protein, and a 55-60 kDa C-terminal fragment. The immunogen sequence used for the antibody is confined to the N-term fragment sequence so we would expect this antibody to bind only the N-term fragment after cleavage.
