Western Blot: SMCX Antibody [NBP3-18659]
Western Blot: SMCX Antibody [NBP3-18659] - Figure 2. Western blot analysis using the antibody directed against SMCX Nuclear extracts of HeLa cells (40 ug) were analysed by Western blot using the antibody against SMCX and with the preimmune serum (lane 1) diluted 1:1,000 in TBS-Tween containing 5% skimmed milk. The position of the protein of interest is indicated on the right (expected size: 175 kDa); the marker (in kDa) is shown on the left. Figure 2 shows that the additional bands at approximately 55 and 80 kDa are also present in the preimmune serum.ELISA: SMCX Antibody [NBP3-18659]
ELISA: SMCX Antibody [NBP3-18659] - Figure 1. Determination of the titer To determine the titer, an ELISA was performed using a serial dilution of the antibody directed against SMCX. The plates were coated with the peptides used for immunization of the rabbit. By plotting the absorbance against the antibody dilution (Figure 1), the titer of the antibody was estimated to be 1:7,000.Applications for SMCX Antibody
