4-20% SDS-PAGE gel.

Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (NBP3-33033) at 1/1,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at room temperature for 2 hours. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1:50,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Background: Tankyrase 1

The ~142 kDa Tankyrase protein is ubiquitously expressed in mammalian cells and is localized to human telomeres. It has homology to ankyrins and to the catalytic domain of poly (adenosine diphosphate-ribose) polymerase (PARP). Tankyrase binds to TRF1 (telomeric repeat binding factor-1), which negatively regulates the maintenance of telomere length.
