Novus Biologicals Rabbit Tau Antibody (Tau-5) - Chimeric - Azide and BSA Free (NBP2-81091) is a recombinant monoclonal antibody validated for use in ICC/IF. Anti-Tau Antibody: Cited in 1 publication. All Novus Biologicals antibodies are covered by our 100% guarantee.
Applications for Tau Antibody (Tau-5) - Chimeric - Azide and BSA Free
Application
Recommended Usage
Electron Microscopy
Optimal dilutions of this antibody should be experimentally determined.
Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence
Optimal dilutions of this antibody should be experimentally determined.
Application Notes
This chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG1 format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques. This antibody binds to tau in a phosphorylation independent manner. Tau proteins are abundant in the central nervous system and stabilize micrtubules. Immuno-staining can be affected by different fixation methods (see LoPresti et al. 1995).
