Epitope
Epitope is only present in thrombospondin prepared in low-calcium (0.1 mmol/L) buffers.
Specificity
Highly specific for the low-calcium (0.1 mmol/L) conformation of human TSP1. There is no evidence of cross-reactivity with other connective tissue proteins (vitronectin, fibronectin, elastin, collagen, laminin).
