Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: Trypsin 2/PRSS2 Antibody (12H7) [NBP3-26365] - Staining of Jurkat cell with Trypsin 2/PRSS2 Antibody (12H7) at 1:50, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 562-conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L).

Background: Trypsin 2/PRSS2

PRSS2 encodes a trypsinogen, which is a member of the trypsin family of serine proteases. This enzyme is secreted by the pancreas and cleaved to its active form in the small intestine. It is active on peptide linkages involving the carboxyl group of lysine or arginine. This gene and several other trypsinogen genes are localized to the T cell receptor beta locus on chromosome 7.
