GPRC5A is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family, characterized by a signature 7- transmembrane domain motif. GPRC5A is a lung-specific tumor suppressor and may play a role in the interaction between retinoid acid and G protein signaling pathways. GPRC5A is also involved in embryonic development and epithelial cell differentiation.
