Western Blot: PASD1 Antibody (2ALCC136) [NBP2-50235] - Western Blotting PASD1 silencing with three independent PASD1 siRNAs was performed to validate the identity of the endogenous protein detected by Western Blotting in BT-20 breast cancer cells. Controls from left to right are untreated, mock siRNA, control siRNA. Experiments in other cell types have given similar results. There may be some variability in the m.wt. of PASD1, 100-150kDa.

Application Notes
Positive control(s): PASD-1 transfected cells and testis; BT-20 and NCI-H1299 carcinoma lines (negative control: MDA-MB-231, tonsil). Antibody PASD1-1 stains nuclei of a subpopulation of spermatogonia near the basal membrane in testicular tubules, with decreasing intensity of labeling with maturity. IHC stainings may be performed on FFPE and cryostat preparations of cells and tissues. Subclass is IgG2a/IgM mixture despite repeated re-cloning. In WB, expected MW is 87.5 kDa/72.5 kDa, observed MW is ~100 kDa.
