R&D Systems now offers the Proteome Profiler™ Human XL Oncology Array Kit (Catalog #ARY026). The Proteome Profiler Human XL Oncology Array Kit is a rapid, sensitive, and economical tool to detect differences in cancer-related proteins between samples. The relative expression levels of 84 human cancer-related proteins can be determined simultaneously without performing numerous Western blots or ELISAs. This array quickly provides an oncogenic protein expression profile that could show important differences between different cancer types and stages.

Proteome Profiler Antibody Array Assay Principle.
Antibodies immobilized on nitrocellulose membranes are used to capture specific proteins from cell lysates. Target proteins are detected using a cocktail of biotinylated detection antibodies and Streptavidin-HRP, or an HRP-conjugated pan anti-Phospho-Tyrosine antibody. Bound analytes are visualized with chemiluminescence.
