The CBP (CREB-binding Protein) is a histone acetyltransferase and transcriptional coactivator that regulates RNA polymerase II transcription. In addition to histone acetylation, CBP also acetylates various transcription factors, including the tumor suppressor protein p53, to enhance sequence-specific DNA binding.

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: CBP/KAT3A Antibody [NBP2-98753] - Immunofluorescence staining of CBP/KAT3A in HeLa cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, blocked with 10% serum. Then incubated with NBP2-98753 antibody (1:1000)(Figure A), incubated with NBP2-98753 antibody and antigen (Figure B) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor(R)488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Positive staining was localized to cytoplasm and nucleus.Applications for CBP/KAT3A Antibody - Azide and BSA Free
