CDC42 Antibody (3C3)

Immunohistochemistry: CDC42 Antibody (3C3) [NBP3-26670] -

Immunohistochemistry: CDC42 Antibody (3C3) [NBP3-26670] - Image of CDC42 Antibody (3C3) diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human pancreatic cancer performed. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit IgG polymer labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB.

Background: CDC42

CDC42 is a small GTPase of the Rho subfamily, which regulates signaling pathways that control diverse cellular functions including cell morphology, migration, endocytosis and cell cycle progression. This protein is highly similar to Saccharomyces cerevisiae Cdc42, and is able to complement the yeast cdc42 1 mutant. The product of oncogene Dbl was reported to specifically catalyze the dissociation of GDP from this protein. This protein could regulate actin polymerization through its direct binding to Neural Wiskott Aldrich syndrome protein (NWASP), which subsequently activates Arp2/3 complex. Alternative splicing of this gene results in at least two transcript variants.
