DPYD Antibody

Immunohistochemistry: DPYD Antibody [NBP3-48502] -

DPYD antibody [N1N2], N-term detects DPYD protein at cytoplasm on H358 xenograft by immunohistochemical analysis.
Sample: Paraffin-embedded H358 xenograft.
DPYD antibody [N1N2], N-term (NBP3-48502) dilution: 1:500.

Antigen Retrieval: (EDTA based, pH 8.0) buffer, 15min
DPYD Antibody

Western Blot: DPYD Antibody [NBP3-48502] -

Whole cell extract (30 ug) was separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with DPYD antibody [N1N2], N-term (NBP3-48502) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used to detect the primary antibody.

Background: DPYD

DPYD is encoded by this gene is a pyrimidine catabolic enzyme and the initial and rate-limiting factor in the pathway of uracil and thymidine catabolism. Mutations in this gene result in dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase deficiency, an error in pyrimidine metabolism associated with thymine-uraciluria and an increased risk of toxicity in cancer patients receiving 5-fluorouracil chemotherapy.

Alternate Names
