  Estrogen receptor alpha immunoreactivity in horse oviduct. NB100-81909 did not produce any labeling in sections known to be ERa positive.

  NB100-81909 was left on tissue sections for 30m at room temperature and was diluted up to 2ug per mL. Two different buffers for heat-induced epitope retrieval were also tested. Longer incubation times and higher concentrations were not tested due to finding nonspecific labeling of smooth muscle and other tissue elements.

  subcutaneous adipose tissue (the inguinal fat pad), in 5XSDS loading buffer was plated at 1mg/mL. The pAb was used at a 1:10 concentration (along with GAPDH at 1:10). The antibody worked fine on our samples.
