Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: Fc gamma RII/CD32 Antibody (AT130-5) - Chimeric [NBP3-08997] - Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed mouse (Mus musculus) splenocytes on Shi-fix(TM) coverslips, permeabilized with 0.15% Triton stained with the chimeric rabbit version of AT130-5 (NBP3-08997) at 10 ug/ml for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor(R) 488 secondary antibody (1 ug/ml), showing membrane staining in a subset of cells. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Panels show from left-right, top-bottom NBP3-08997, DAPI, merged channels and an isotype control. The isotype control was stained with an anti-Fluorescein antibody followed by Alexa Fluor(R) 488 secondary antibody.

Background: Fc gamma RII/CD32

CD32 is a receptor for the Fc region of complexed or aggregated immunoglobulins gamma. This is a low affinity receptor. It is Involved in a variety of effector and regulatory functions such as phagocytosis of immune complexes and modulation of antibody production by B-cells. Binding to this receptor results in downmodulation of previous state of cell activation triggered via antigen receptors on B cells (BCR), T cells (TCR) or via another Fc receptor.
