This monoclonal antibody recognizes both the free and protein-conjugated (either soluble or cell bound) form of fluorescein or carboxy-fluorescein. Sensitivity of the FITC-anti-FITC system is reportedly similar to that of the biotin-avidin system. In biotin or enzyme-labeled form, this monoclonal antibody is also suitable for the conversation of fluorescein-labeled detection into immuno-enzymatic assays.

Description

1.0 mg/ml of antibody purified from Bioreactor Concentrate by Protein A/G. Prepared in 10mM PBS WITHOUT BSA & azide. Also available at 200 ug/ml WITH BSA & azide (NBP3-07778).

Antibody with azide - store at 2 to 8C. Antibody without azide - store at -20 to -80C.

Application Notes
In situ Nucleic Acid Hybridization, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry Formalin-fixed: 1-2ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT. Pretreatment depends upon the fluoreceinated primary antibody. Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined.
