Scientific Data Images for GFP Antibody - BSA Free
Western Blot: GFP Antibody [NBP2-50059]
Western Blot: GFP Antibody [NBP2-50059] - Analysis of lysates of transfected HEK293 using rabbit pAb to GFP, NBP2-50059, in green, dilution 1:2,000. [1] protein standard, [2] non-transfected control cells, [3] cells transfected with a GFP construct, and [4] cells transfected with mCherry construct. Strong band at ~27kDa corresponds to GFP protein detected only in cells transfected with GFP construct, the antibody does not recognize mCherry. The same blot was simultaneously probed with mouse mAb to beta-tubulin, dilution 1:10,000, in red. The single band ~50kDa represents beta-tubulin protein expressed in all preparations.Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence: GFP Antibody [NBP2-50059]
Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: GFP Antibody [NBP2-50059] - Immunofluorescent analysis of transfected HEK293 cells with a GFP construct, in green, and stained with rabbit pAb to GFP, NBP2-50059, dilution 1:2,000 in red. The blue is Hoechst staining of nuclear DNA. The GFP antibody reveals GFP protein expressed only in transfected cells, and as a result these cells appear orange-yellow in color.Applications for GFP Antibody - BSA Free

Q: We are looking for a rabbit anti-GFP antibody as a primary antibody for immunofluorescence and WB. I've seen that you carry several anti-GFP antibodies and I would like to ask which one you would recommend. The one with Cat.No NB600-308 has been used in a lot of publications and I reckon it is a solid antibody. Is this our best choice, or is there a better alternative?
A: NB600-308 is an excellent GFP antibody and I think it would work very well for you. It has been reviewed and published with which usually makes our customer feel much more confident, seeing as it worked in other people's hand.
