Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: HspA6 Antibody [NBP2-97536] - Immunofluorescence staining of HspA6 in A431 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with NBP2-97536 antibody (dilution ratio 1:200) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor(R)488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue).Positive staining was localized to Cytoplasm.

Background: HSPA6/HSP70B

HSP70B is a unique member of the human Hsp70 chaperone involved in cellular processes such as protein trafficking, folding, and prevention of aggregation. This protein is strictly stress-inducible, having little or no basal expression levels in most cells. HSP70B and Hsp72 are closely related and play cooperative roles in cell survival of proteotoxic stress. Recombinant human HSP70B, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.
