Recombinant Human ICAM‑3/CD50 Fc Chimera (Catalog # 715-IC) was serially diluted and captured by Mouse Anti-Human ICAM‑3/CD50 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # BBA15) coated on a Clear Polystyrene Microplate (Catalog # DY990). Goat Anti-Human ICAM‑3/CD50 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF813) was biotinylated and incubated with the protein captured on the plate. Detection of the standard curve was achieved by incubating Streptavidin-HRP (Catalog # DY998)

Background: ICAM-3/CD50

Intercellular Adhesion Molecule-3 (ICAM-3; also known as CD50), a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, binds the leukocyte integrins LFA-1 (CD11a/CD18) and alpha d/ beta 2. ICAM‑3 is expressed on leukocytes and epidermal Langerhans cells. It may play an important role in T cell stimulation by Langerhans cells. ICAM-3 has not been identified in the mouse.
