Chromatin Immunoprecipitation-exo-Seq: IRF2 Antibody - BSA Free [NBP2-56712]

ChIP-Exo-Seq composite graph for Anti-IRF2 (NBP2-56712) tested in K562 cells. Strand-specific reads (blue: forward, red: reverse) and IgG controls (black: forward, grey: reverse) are plotted against the distance from a composite set of reference binding sites. The antibody exhibits robust target enrichment compared to a non-specific IgG control and precisely reveals its structural organization around the binding site. Data generated by Prof. B. F. Pugh´s Lab at Cornell University.

Background: IRF2

IRF2 encodes interferon regulatory factor 2, a member of the interferon regulatory transcription factor (IRF) family. IRF2 competitively inhibits the IRF1-mediated transcriptional activation of interferons alpha and beta, and presumably other genes that employ IRF1 for transcription activation. However, IRF2 also functions as a transcriptional activator of histone H4.
