FAQs for MDM1 Antibody - BSA Free
-
Q: I used an Ab NBP-1 85839 from your company in NSLC cells for western and am wondering what the expected size of this protein should be.
A: The MDM1 protein has an expected molecular weight of 80kDa. There are four isoforms to this protein and our product NBP1-85839 is capable of detecting isoforms 1 and 4 (80 and 76kDa respectively). uniprot site In western blot, our lab has detected bands from 70-78kDa. Since there is a phophoserine residue at amino acid 83, it is possible to detect bands up to 80-85kDa.
