Blockade of Receptor-ligand Interaction

In a functional ELISA, 0.015-0.06 μg/mL of this antibody will block 50% of the binding of 4 ng/mL of Recombinant Mouse PlGF-2 to immobilized Recombinant Human Flt-1/Fc Chimera coated at 1 μg/mL (100 µL/well).

Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS. For liquid material, refer to CoA for concentration.

Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS with Trehalose. *Small pack size (SP) is supplied either lyophilized or as a 0.2 µm filtered solution in PBS.

Lyophilized product is shipped at ambient temperature. Liquid small pack size (-SP) is shipped with polar packs. Upon receipt, store immediately at the temperature recommended below.

Background: PlGF-2

PlGF is a member of the VEGF family of growth factors, and it binds with high-affinity to VEGF R1. As a result of alternative splicing, three human PlGF mRNAs encode PlGF-1 (PlGF131), PlGF-2 (PlGF152) and PlGF-3 (PlGF203). Normal mouse tissues express only a 158 amino acid precursor that is the equivalent of human PlGF-2.
