Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-PGC-1beta antibody NBP1-28722 used for WB at 0.4 ug/ml (A) and 1 ug/ml (B) and used for IP at 10 ug/mg lysate. PGC-1beta was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-PGC-1beta antibody NBP1-28721, which recognizes an upstream epitope. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 30 seconds (A and B).

Background: PGC1 beta

Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma coactivator 1-beta (PGC-1beta) is a member of a family of transcriptional coactivators that play a role in metabolism and whole-body homeostasis. PGC-1beta has been shown to be a co-activator of the estrogen receptor alpha, glucocorticoid receptor, and the nuclear respiratory factor 1 (NRF1). Additionally PGC-1beta is suggested to be integral to mitochondrial function and glucose metabolism.

    human glioblastoma cell line treated with ct, drug, ct, drug, ct, drug, then the lysates (10 ug each)were loaded onto SDS-PAGE and subjected to WB. 1st antibody: 1/1000 dil in 2% BSA TBST The bands at 150kD are PGC1b.
