Western Blot: Pygopus-1 Antibody [NBP1-42666] - Whole cell lysate from HeLa (5, 15 and 50 mcg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) and 293T (T; 50 mcg) cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-Pygo1 antibody used for WB at 0.04 mcg/ml (A) and 1 mcg/ml (B) and used for IP at 3 mcg/mg lysate. Pygo1 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-Pygo1 antibody NBP1-42665, which recognizes an upstream epitope.

Background: Pygopus-1

PYGO1, also known as Pygopus homolog 1, is a 45kDa 419 amino acid protein. PYGO1 is involved in signal transduction through the Wnt pathway. Current research on PYGO1 is being conducted in relation to acute diarrhea and colorectal cancer. PYGO1 is linked to the WTN signaling pathway where it interacts with BCL9, LENG8, CTNNB1, SPTBN1 and GRB2.
