FAQs for SMYD4 Antibody - BSA Free
-
Q: I have bought two different antibodies against SMYD4 (from two different companies) and they didn't work specifically. They were unable to detect the human SMYD4 protein that I was over-expressing (neither WB nor IF). Can you send me an aliquot to test your antibody? Do you know if it recognize the mouse Smyd4?
A:
I can confirm that the antibody NBP1-81356 was raised against and binds to the human SMYD4. The antibody NBP1-79406 also targets human SMYD4. Please see the images on the website datasheets for these products for validation. We also sell SMYD4 Overexpression Lysate (NBL1-16263), for use as positive control. Unfortunately, I am not able to offer you samples of these products. However, if you use them in Western blot you would be covered by our Novus Guarantee, and if you use a product in an application not mentioned on its datasheet (e.g. ICC) you would be eligible for our Innovators Reward Program.
