FAQs for Troponin I Type 3 (cardiac) Antibody (19C7cc) - BSA Free
-
Q: Is the antibody cardiac specific? If no, what is the percentage that it is cardiac specific?
A: It is expected to be cardiac specific and to not cross-react with skeletal troponin I.
-
Q: Would you please help suggest antibody pairs for detecting Human Creatine Kinase MB,.Myoglobin,.C-reactive protein, and Troponin I, as well as their positive controls? So far, I can only find NB120-8345 and NB600-1291 for Myoglobin. There seems no Creatine Kinase MB antibody available from Novus. I also found two pairs suggested for Troponin I: NB110-2546(Coating)- NB100-73082(Conjugate); NB100-73087(Coating) - NB110-2546(Conjugate). Would you please help confirm? How about CRP? May we also ask if NB810-73233 can be used as the antigen in ELISA of CRP?
A:
For Myoglobin The recommended antibodies are NB120-8345 and NB600-1291 as you mentioned. For Troponin I: As you mentioned: NB110-2546(Coating)- NB100-73082(Conjugate) and NB100-73087(Coating) - NB110-2546(Conjugate). We do not have any matched pairs for Creatine KinasE MB. We do not have any match pairs for CRP as we have just not tested these in house in ELISA. The customer could use our CRP antibodies in a direct ELISA. We have not had any one use this as an antigen as of yet however if your customer is willing to test this as innovators they are more than welcome.
