NKX2 by Immunohistochemistry (IHC-P).5 antibody in Human Heart by Immunohistochemistry (IHC-P).

NKX2.5 in Human Heart.

NKX2.5 was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human heart using Mouse Anti-Human NKX2.5 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB2444) at 25 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the Anti-Mouse HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown; Catalog # CTS002) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Lower panel shows a lack of labeling if primary antibodies are omitted and tissue is stained only with secondary antibody followed by incubation with detection reagents. During embryonic development, NKX2.5 is also expressed in the foregut, thyroid, spleen, and stomach, while in the adult expression is predominantly restricted to the heart.
