FAQs for Biglycan Antibody - BSA Free

Q: I have a question regarding the Biglycan antibody NBP1-84971. It is stated that the species reactivity is human; is there a chance it will work in mice to, or do you known for a fact that the antibody does not label mouse tissues? I need a anti-biglycan antibody, for IHC (paraffin) on mouse tissue; can you recommend any of your antibodies for this purpose?
A:
We have not yet tested this antibody on mouse, however the % homology is 95%, and our lab recommends use when the homology is 85% or above. If you would like to test this you could apply for our Innovators Reward Program. Unfortunately we do not have an anti Biglycan that has been validated for use in both mouse and IHC-P.
