Product Specifications
Immunogen
Synthetic phospho-peptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding Thr286 conjugated to KLH. Accession # P11275
Reactivity Notes
Human reactivity reported in scientific literature (PMID: 28972541).
Modification
p Thr286
Localization
Cell membrane; presynaptic membrane. Cell junction; synapse.
Specificity
Specific for endogenous levels of the ~50 kDa CaM Kinase II alpha and the ~60 kDa beta-CaM Kinase II proteins phosphorylated at Thr286. Immunolabeling is completely eliminated by treatment with lambda-phosphatase.
Clonality
Polyclonal
Host
Rabbit
Isotype
IgG

Western Blot: CaM Kinase II alpha [p Thr286] Antibody [NB300-184]
Western Blot: CaMKII alpha [p Thr286] Antibody [NB300-184] - Anaylsis of Rat brain lysate showing specific immunolabeling of the ~50k a- and the ~60k beta-CaM Kinase II phosphorylated at Thr286 (Control). The phosphospecificity of this labeling is shown in the second lane (lambda-phosphatase: lambda-Ptase). The blot is identical to the control except that it was incubated in lambda-Ptase (1200 units for 30 min) before being exposed to the Anti-Thr286 CaM Kinase II. The immunolabeling is completely eliminated by treatment with lambda-Ptase.Applications for CaM Kinase II alpha [p Thr286] Antibody - Azide Free
