Biological ActivitySelective PSC eliminating agent. Induces toxicity in cultured iPSCs and ESCs after 1 h of incubation, via an alkaline phosphatase-dependent mechanism. Only eliminates iPSCs in co-cultures with iPSC-derived neurons, cardiomyocytes or hepatocytes. Treated iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes transplanted into mice exhibit no residual teratoma formation.
