Immunohistochemistry: EZH2/KMT6 Antibody (2C7) [NBP3-26598] - Image of EZH2/KMT6 Antibody (2C7) diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human lung cancer performed. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit IgG polymer labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB.

Background: EZH2

KMT6 / EZH2 encodes a member of the Polycomb-group (PcG) family. PcG family members form multimeric protein complexes, which are involved in maintaining the transcriptional repressive state of genes over successive cell generations. This protein associates with the embryonic ectoderm development protein, the VAV1 oncoprotein, and the X-linked nuclear protein. This protein may play a role in the hematopoietic and central nervous systems. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. [provided by RefSeq]
