Background: FGFR2

Fibroblast growth factors (FGFs) are members of a large family of structurally related polypeptides that are potent physiological regulators of growth and differentiation for a wide variety of cells of mesodermal, ectodermal and endodermal origin. Four genes encoding for high affinity cell surface FGF receptors (FGFRs) have been identified: FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3 and FGFR4. FGFRs are members of the tyrosine kinase family of growth factor receptors. FGFR2 is highly expressed in developing human tissues including the brain, choroids plexus, lung etc.

FAQs for FGFR2 Antibody (7C24) - Azide and BSA Free

Showing  1 - 1 of 1 FAQ Showing All
  • Q: Do you have any evidence that your antibody NB110-94154 immunostains mouse fgfr2 either on historical sections or by FACS?

    A:

Our product NB110-94154 has been validated to detect the mouse protein in western blot and IHC in paraffin-embedded tissue sections. We have an image on our website of this antibody staining LPS treated mouse kidney and lung sections. We have not yet validated this antibody for use in FACS. Since the antibody is able to recognize the native protein, it would be a good candidate for use in FACS. Although we would not be able to guarantee this function we do have a program you may find of interest. The Novus Innovators Reward Program allows you to try our primary antibodies in an untested species or application, without the financial risk of failure. You simply complete an online review with an image, detailing the positive or negative results of your study, and in return you receive a discount voucher for 100% of the purchase price of the reviewed product. You can also submit reviews by emailing innovators@novusbio.com.
