FAQs for HCN4 Antibody (SHG 1E5)
-
Q: I need an anti human HCN4 antibody for sorting. I was wondering if your product HCN4 antibody (NB110-74735) can react with the extracellular portions of HCN4 and is applicable for FACS?
A: NB110-74735 was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region that covered both cytoplasmic and extracellular regions of the HCN4 protein. We don't routinely map our antibodies, and we don't know where specifically this antibody binds its target. NB100-74439 may be a better option for you, as the immunogen sequence is provided on our website, but we have not validated it for Flow/FACS.
-
Q: I was looking for HCN4 antiboby that attaches to the extra cellular domain of the channel tested on mouse and human for immunio stoaining..
A: The immunogen for our monoclonal antibody to HCN4, is actually the rat protein. The sequence comes from amino acids 1046 - 1083 of the 1198 amino acid protein, but unfortunately, it is from a cytoplasmic domain. This is the only HCN4 Ab that we have tested for IHC and that has been validated for use with mouse and human.
