Hepassocin, also known as fibrinogen like 1 (FGL1) and hepatocyte-derived fibrinogen-related protein 1 (HFREP1), is a liver-specific secreted protein belonging to the fibronogen superfamily, whose members share a fibrinogen domain at their C-termini. Hepassocin/FGL1 may play a role in the development of hepatocellular carcinomas. Hepassocin/FGL1 is a disulfide-linked homodimeric protein with a C-terminal fibrinogen domain. It is secreted by the liver and functions as a mitogen for hepatocytes. Hepassocin/FGL1 is upregulated during liver regeneration following partial hepatectomy.

Western Blot: Hepassocin/FGL1 Antibody (HL2317) - Azide and BSA Free [NBP3-25466] - Various whole cell extracts (30 ug) were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with FGL1 antibody [HL2317] (NBP3-25466) diluted at 1:2000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used to detect the primary antibody, and the signal was developed with Trident ECL plus-Enhanced. Corresponding RNA expression data for the same cell lines are based on Human Protein Atlas program.
