Detection of EMR3 in HEK293 Human Cell Line Transfected with Human EMR3 and eGFP by Flow Cytometry.
HEK293 human embryonic kidney cell line transfected with either (A) human EMR3 or (B) irrelevant transfectants and eGFP was stained with Mouse Anti-Human EMR3 PE‑conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB8496P). Quadrant markers were set based on control antibody staining (Catalog # IC0041P). View our protocol for Staining Membrane-associated Proteins.

EMR3 is a member of the class B seven-span transmembrane (TM7) receptor family. It is expressed predominantly by cells of the immune system, with highest levels in neutrophils, monocytes and macrophages. It may play a role in myeloid-myeloid interactions during immune and inflammatory responses. EMR3 upregulation in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is associated with poor survival and may be a potential therapeutic target.
