Detection of NKG2C/CD159c in Human Blood Lymphocytes by Flow Cytometry. Human peripheral blood lymphocytes were stained with Mouse Anti-Human NCAM‑1/CD56 PE‑conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB2408P) and either (A) Alexa Fluor® 700‑conjugated Mouse Anti-Human NKG2C/CD159c Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB1381N) or (B) Mouse IgG2B Flow Cytometry Isotype Control (Catalog # IC0041N). NKG2C, also known as hemoglobin scavenger receptor, is a type II transmembrane protein expressed exclusively in monocytes and macrophages. It is a scavenger receptor cysteine-rich superfamily (SRCR-SF) protein that contains nine SRCR motifs in its extracellular region. MAB1381 displays potent agonistic activity and also blocks the binding of the NKG2C/CD94 heterodimer to HLA-E tetramers (1-3).
