Application Notes
WB: Preliminary experiments gave an approx. 35 kDa band in human brain (cerebellum, frontal cortex) lysates after 0.1 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 48.4 kDa band according to isoform 1 (NP_009296.1, NP_149349.2, NP_695013.1), 27.9 kDa band according to isoform 3 (NP_695015.1) and 19.4 kDa band according to isoform 5 (NP_695017.1). The 35 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
