FAQs for Lysine (K)-specific Demethylase 3A/KDM3A/JMJD1A Antibody - BSA Free

Q: Would you please let me know if NB100-77282 is validated for ChIP?
A: NB100-77282 hasn't been tested for use in ChIP. Theoretically this antibody can work for ChIP if you get successful cross-linking of JMJD1A to K9 on H3. There should be enough JMJD1A present to be able to capture the quick de-methylation step and you'd only need a couple DNA strands to IP to be able to amplify by PCR. This antibody should work for ChIP but it will most likely IP a low amount of DNA and we can not guarantee it for use in ChIP.
