Detects mouse IL‑17 RC in Western blots. In Western blots, approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) IL‑17 RC is observed and less than 2% cross‑reactivity with rhIL‑17 R, recombinant mouse (rm) IL‑17 RD and rmIL‑17B R is observed.
Detection of IL‑17 RC in RAW 264.7 Mouse Cell Line by Flow Cytometry. RAW 264.7 mouse monocyte/macrophage cell line was stained with Goat Anti-Mouse IL‑17 RC Biotinylated Antigen Affinity‑purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # BAF2270, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # BAF108, open histogram), followed by Streptavidin-Phycoerythrin (Catalog # F0040).

Background: IL-17 RC
IL-17 RC, also known as IL-17 RL, is a 791 amino acid (aa) precursor that contains a 20 aa signal sequence, a 519 aa extracellular region, a 20 aa type I transmembrane segment, and a 232 aa cytoplasmic domain. There are nine potential N-linked glycosylation sites in the extracellular region and six potential phosphorylation sites in the cytoplasmic tail. In addition to the 791 aa form, four additional isoforms have been reported.
