Detection of Integrin alpha E/CD103 in Mouse Splenocytes by Flow Cytometry. Mouse splenocytes were stained with Goat Anti-Mouse Integrin aE/CD103 Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB1990G) and Rat Anti-Mouse CD8a APC-conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB116A). Background: Integrin alpha E/CD103
The Integrin alpha E subunit, also known as CD103, forms a non-covalent heterodimer with Integrin beta 7. Integrin alpha E/ beta 7 is a receptor for E-Cadherin. Integrin alpha E is expressed in intra-epithelial lymphocytes and mediates adhesion of intra-epithelial lymphocytes to epithelial cell monolayers.
