|Detection of Mouse TNFRH3/TNFRSF26 by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of mouse thymus tissue and mouse spleen tissue. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Sheep Anti-Mouse TNFRH3/TNFRSF26 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF5330) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016). A specific band was detected for TNFRH3/TNFRSF26 at approximately XXX kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 8.|
TNFRH3 (Tumor necrosis factor receptor homolog 3; also TNFR superfamily member 26) is a 21 kDa (predicted) member of the TNF receptor superfamily. TNFRH3 is concentrated in lymphoid cell types.
Mature mouse TNFRH3 is a type I transmembrane protein that is 185 amino acid (aa) in length. It contains a 145 aa extracellular region and a 19 aa cytoplasmic domain. The extracellular region contains three TNFR-Cys repeats that characterize TNF receptors (aa 27 - 143). Unlike two related TNF receptor homologs, TNFRH3 does not serve as a TRAIL decoy receptor. No ortholog to mouse TNFRH3 has been reported in human or rat.
