Mouse Trem-like transcript 2 protein (TLT-2; also TREML2) is a 34 kDa (predicted for unglycosylated) type I transmembrane cell surface receptor and member of the Trem family of receptor proteins. Mouse TLT-2 is synthesized as a 329 amino acid (aa) precursor that contains a 24 aa signal sequence, a 246 aa extracellular domain (ECD), a 21 aa transmembrane segment, and a 38 aa cytoplasmic tail. Within the ECD are an Ig-like V-type domain (aa 25-126) and one potential site for N-linked glycosylation. Mature mouse TLT-2 shares 49% aa sequence identity with mature human TLT-2. Cell surface expression of TLT-2 is seen for most of the B and myeloid cell lines. TLT-2 is also expressed constitutively on CD8+ T cells.

Scientific Data Images for Mouse TREML2/TLT‑2 Antibody
Detection of Mouse TREML2/TLT‑2 by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of mouse spleen tissue. PVDF Membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Mouse TREML2/TLT-2 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF6354) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016). A band was detected for TREML2/TLT-2 at approximately 45 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 8.Detection of TREML2/TLT-2 in M1 Mouse Cell Line by Flow Cytometry.
M1 mouse myeloid leukemia cell line was stained with Mouse TREML2/TLT-2 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF6354, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # 5-001-A, open histogram), followed by NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # NL010).Applications for Mouse TREML2/TLT‑2 Antibody
