Background: PLAG1

Pleomorphic adenoma gene 1 encodes a zinc finger protein with 2 putative nuclear localization signals. PLAG1, which is developmentally regulated, has been shown to be consistently rearranged in pleomorphic adenomas of the salivary glands. PLAG1 is activated by the reciprocal chromosomal translocations involving 8q12 in a subset of salivary gland pleomorphic adenomas. Three transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been found for this gene.

FAQs for PLAG1 Antibody (3B7) - Azide and BSA Free

Showing  1 - 1 of 1 FAQ Showing All
  • Q: Could you help confirm whether we have the recommendation dilution ration for WB and IHC of H00005324-M02?

A: This is a product from Abnova and they recommend their mouse monoclonal antibodies for WB at 1 - 5 ug/ml for 25 - 50 ug of cell lysate/lane. The IHC validation of this antibody is recommended based on Bahrami et al's publication (Head Neck Pathol. 2012 Sep; 6(3): 328–335, PMID: 22485045) and in this paper, the author's team used this antibody at 1: 50 dilution.
