S100A16 is a gene that codes for a calcium-binding protein that is 103 amino acids long, with a weight of approximately 12 kDa. Current research is being done on diseases and disorders linked to this gene including carcinoma. S100A16 has also been shown to have interactions with S100A14, UCHL5, GABARAPL1, CERS2, and ECM1.
